A leading home appliance company in Ghana wishes to recruit a qualified and experienced staff to fill the vacant position of Product Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Guide a team that is charged with product line contribution as a business unit.
•  increasing the profitability of existing products and also develop new product for the company
•  build products from existing ideas and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects.
•  work with manufacturing counterparts to define product release requirements
•  work with marketing communication to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them to understand the product positioning ,key benefits and target customers.
•  serve as internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers

Qualification Required & Experience

•  a minimum of four years experience in areas such as product management. project planning project design or innovation with home appliance of home and lifestyle companies (kitchen solutions. architectural solutions etc or consulting experience with market research firms or with retailer manufacturer of home appliances.
•  minimum of four year bachelors degree in marketing management, advanced degree preferred. equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered with good track record.
•  solid knowledge of Microsoft office
•  must have good networking into research firms (traditional and non traditional research firms)
must have a valid driving license
