Qualification Required & Experience

PROFESSORS

A candidate seeking appointment as Professor must:

• Possess a PhD in the relevant field of specialization.
• Have served for at least four (4) years as an Associate Professor.
• Have at least Twenty (20) publications in refereed journals since appointment as a lecturer, at least five (5) of which should have been published after promotion to Associate Professor.
• Must be a member of a recognized and relevant professional body.
• Provide other evidence of research/invention/innovation
• Evidence of industry experience

ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS

A candidate seeking appointment as Associate Professor must:

• Possess a PhD in the relevant field of specialization.
• Have taught for a minimum of four (4) years as a Senior Lecturer.
• Have at least fifteen (15) publications in refereed journals since appointment as a Lecturer; at least five (5) of which should have been published after promotion to Senior Lecturer.
• Membership of a recognized professional body.
• Provide other evidence of research/professional activity/products/ invention.
• Evidence of industry experience
