Job Summary:
CHF International a Non-Governmental Organization is seeking experienced professionals to recruit to fill the position below for a proposal for an upcoming 5-year USAID funded project on local government capacity building, livelihood and nutrition promotion in the northern region of Ghana.
The position with CHF International in the Northern Region, Ghana, will be pending upon an award by USAID. The position is full time; 12 months per year over the life of the program.
This position will provide technical assistance and troubleshooting along with senior level and technical staff on water and sanitation, nutrition; livelihood and agriculture;
• Assist in providing programmatic and administrative support to partners; properly capture and document lessons learnt by partner organizations in line with the overall Learning Agenda and program;
• Document partners’ methodologies, activities and results; provide information on monthly basis (achievements, planned activities compared with the workplan) to assist in the release of grants to partners;
• And represent the program at all implementing activity meetings at the community level.
Qualification Required & Experience
S/hewill report to the Senior Management Systems Advisor must have:
• At least five years relevant working experience;
• University degree, preferable in urban development, nutrition, agriculture, social development;
• Demonstrated ability to work with local NGOs and district assemblies/government institutions;
• Written and spoken English language proficiency preferred;
• High degree of computer literacy; MS Excel and MS Word are essential; and
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to determine priorities and respect deadlines.
