Organizational Context:
Under overall guidance of the Representative and direct supervision of the Programme Analyst, the Program Assistant supports the program team. The Programme Assistant is responsible for supporting the activities of one or more Programme Analysts in a number of respects, including research, data analysis, logistical support, and field visits.

Job Requirements:
Academic Requirements:

•  Minimum of a university degree in social sciences

Experience:

•  3 years of relevant work experience in project management support, research and monitoring/evaluation
•  Broad understanding of reproductive health, adolescents and young people, and development issues in Ghana
•  Conversant with programme implementation and funding modalities of international organisations, especially the UN system

Languages: Fluency in oral and written English

Computer Skills:

•  Proficiency in current office software applications
•  Proficiency in PeopleSoft, and other computerized applications used by the UN
