ActionAid Ghana (AAG) is looking to employ experienced and self-motivated individuals to fill the above vacancy.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Programmes, the Programme Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Greater Accra/Volta Local Rights Programme of ActionAid Ghana. This includes the management of programmes/projects, human, material and financial resources.
It also involves providing leadership and supporting the team of staff to be able to deliver on programme objectives. The position holder will also be expected to provide technical support to partner institutions and community allies in the Local Rights Programme (LRP) of the regions.
Job Circumstances:
This is a three (3) year renewal contract employment. The role involves very frequent travel within Ghana and sometimes working beyond regular hours
Contacts:
• Internally: with Head of Programmes, Country Director, Programme Managers, Head of Finance & Sponsorship, HR & Administration Manager, Thematic Policy Advisors and AA staff nationally and internationally
• Externally: with key stakeholders, representatives of government, committees, international/local NGOs, various platforms and networks
Basic Salary: GH ¢2,471.16 (non-negotiable) i.e Band 5, Step 3
Qualification Required & Experience
Academic Qualification:
Masters Degree in the Social Sciences + 5 years relevant experience, OR First Degree in the Social Sciences + 10 years relevant experience
