Description Of Job

Concern Universal Ghana begins the implementation of a 30-month European Union/ACP funded Microfinance project which will start in July 2012, working across 6 districts in Brong Ahafo, Eastern and Volta Regions of Ghana. We seek suitably qualified candidates to fill the above position.

Purpose:
Co-ordinate, manage, and lead the day-to-day implementation of the Banking for the Poor (B4P) project in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Responsibilities:

. To develop with the Project Manager, annual quarterly and monthly work plans and budgets for project activities
. Work with field officers to ensure effective and efficient delivery of project deliverables
. Preparation of periodic reports
. Work with other project team members and partners to develop and develop appropriate monitoring and evaluation systems
. Collection and reporting of M&E data
. Support for the development of new project proposals

Job Location: Techiman, Brong Ahafo Region

Qualification Required & Experience

Professional requirement and Preferred experience:

. Bachelors degree in Development oriented field or other relevant subjects
. Minimum of two years experience with an international NGO, working in community development
. Experience of community based microfinance programme preferably Village Savings and Loans schemes will be an advantage

Personal traits:

. Determined hard worker, capable of rapid and quality turn around on a high workload and multiple tasks
. Excellent team player
. Proactive approach to problem solving in difficult and isolated locations
. Outgoing personality with solid interpersonal skills
. Willingness to work in rural communities
