Job Summary
TechnoServe, an international NGO with decades of work in the development sector in Ghana, is looking to recruit qualified and experienced Ghanaians with a strong background in Finance/Investment and a passion to impact positively and tangibly on the lives of the poor by applying for above position.
Roles and Responsibility:
• Support development of pipeline by marketing the programme to potential target businesses
• Socialise new business opportunities (greenfield investment) with prospective portfolio companies
Evaluate and Support the Pipeline:
• Evaluate materials submitted by businesses and develop recommendation for whether business should be admitted to the programme
• Manage a screening process to select participating businesses
• Advise businesses on the types of advisory and consulting services from which they would benefit to improve access to finance
• Review quarterly scorecard for participating businesses and provide recommendations on improvements needed to access finance
Oversee business advisory service provision to businesses:
• Review BAS Provider deliverables for pre-finance companies
• Oversee development of BAS tender rules and procedures
• Oversee development of BAS rules and regulations for participation in FINGAP
• Set BAS provider rates on an annual basis
• Provide BAS providers annual feedback on performance
Qualification Required & Experience
• Holds a MA degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, Agriculture, Agricultural Economics or other business related fields
• Six (6) years minimum field experience in business, finance, economics or other related field
• Previous client management experience
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Strong management skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to motivate inspire and achieve results
