Job Vacancy For Project Manager At World Vision Ghana (Talensi)
World Vision Ghana (WVG) is looking for a highly qualified, proactive, motivated and resourceful person to fill the above position.

Annual Salary: GHS + Benefits
Purpose of the Position:
The Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR) Project Manager will be responsible for management and coordination of the Computershare safe a Life Foundation and World Vision Australia funded FMNR Phase 2 Project. He/she will be responsible for the leadership of the FMNR Project team and achievement project results resulting in a community based project that fosters children's well-being and promotes sustainable development.
Major Responsibilities:
• Provide overall management and coordination for the FMNR team (Development Facilitators for FMNR and Community savings and Loans scheme and Driver) in the realization of program results according to the FMNR Log frame and Detailed Implementation Plan
• Apply monitoring and evaluation system in collaboration with the project team to ensure record keeping of monthly, semi-annual and annual basis progress against the state objectives
• Work with District collaborators and Regional agencies identified to be stakeholders to ensure Project sustainability
• Ensure that financial processes comply with relevant sections of the field financial manual, Private Non Sponsorship provisions and other partnership standards
• Monitor funding commitments, project sending against budget, preparation and submission of required program progress and financial reports on a regular basis. Ensure projects responsible spend up to the level of funding commitment and/or provide adequate explanations for any significant variances
• Ensure the documentation of lessons learned and best practices are shared through internal and external FMNR and Food Security knowledge sharing forums
• Provide Technical support for the expansion of FMNR to other Area Development Programmes (ADP) in World Vision Ghana
• Provide strong and positive leadership to Project ensuring competent and motivated staff are retained with their wellbeing promoted
• Responsible for the writing of annual reports and semi-annual reports according LEAP standard or specifications that may be required by donor
Qualification Required & Experience
Job Specification:
Education qualification:
• University degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics or related fields. Master's degree will be an advantage
Experience:
• 3 to 5 years field experience with NGO's in developing countries
• Experience in monitoring and evaluation
• Experience providing food security technical support and ensuring program quality
• Experience in the integration of food security, economic development, natural resource management, institutional capacity and other key cross cutting themes (gender, environment)
Technical Skills & Abilities:
• Strong program management skills and experience managing funded grant projects
• Proven leadership skills and experience in people management
• Skills and experience in external stakeholder engagement including donors, government and private sector and experiences with coordination of multi-stakeholder forums
• Self starter and team player with high standards and solid command of technical issues
