Role Purpose
Build a mobile-health business for profit in Ghana. Reporting to the m-health Director
Key Responsibilities
• Map the Ghanaian health system (govt. health policies, insurance, hospitals and pharmacies
• Build contacts with doctors and health workers in Accra as potential partners
• Contribute towards how Millicom can establish a profitable business within m-health by helping to implement the pilot project
• As part of the newly founded m-health team, you will join an early-phase startup where you will help build up all functions necessary for a successful company
• Act as local liaison between Tigo staff in Accra and the m-health team in London
- Support the customer understanding team in confirming relevant product-market match (pains & gains of consumer)
- Ensure technical requirements between Factory and external developers match
• On each assignment you will drive a specific function, such as marketing, sales, product development, IT, supply management, and operations
Qualification Required & Experience
• University degree, MBA preferred
• At least two years of project management experience, gained in the health or related industry
• Proven experience of project managing cross-functionally
• High drive and ambition to perform, work independently, with flexibility and speed
• Entrepreneural spirit, strong analytical skills and hands-on attitude, with a strong interest in (internet) startups
• Fluency in English and other languages
