Job Vacancy For Promotions & Events Coordinator At Tigo Ghana



Role Purpose

Reporting to the Events and Promotions Manager, the candidate selected for this role will be required to implement tactical innovative events and promotions strategy for Tigo Ghana to impact positively on the company's performance.

Key Responsibilities

EVENTS MANAGEMENT

•   Implementing events that provide an experiential feel, drive affinity, build loyalty and increase TOMA;
•   Branding of venues to increase the brand visibility and association with BTL activities across Ghana;
•   Managing all events to ensure that the brand attributes that Tigo wants to own, reflect them;
•   Coordinating the Territory Brand Image Coordinators to execute events in their territories that align with the overall commercial agenda;
•   Liaising with the Sales team to review events strategy and its impact on Sales for possible adjustments;
•   Continually assessing regional subscriber trends, in consultation with Sales Team and Events Manager, to recommend new BTL activities on how to reach potential and existing subscribers;
•   Continually providing the Marketing department with Competitor BTL activities with a view to recommend response.;
•   Providing reports and other reviews promptly highlighting key learning and implementing improvements using facts to ensure brand equity building;
•   Recommending, developing and overseeing all sponsorship activities engaged by the company in line with the commercial agenda;
•   Coordinating BTL/ Event agencies on agreed project objectives, strategy and budget for implementation

PROMOTIONS

•   Work closely with Marketing , Commercial and Go To Market teams in the execution of ONE consumer promotion per year - Either to drive customer acquisition or increase usage;
•   Execute implementation of all Tigo Promotions;
•   Work with the brand team to deploy marketing communication assets for Tigo promotions;
•   Provide post promotion evaluation report at the end of each promotion;

EVENT AGENCY MANAGEMENT

•   Act as a liaison between Tigo and BTL agencies;
•   Manage event agencies to ensure all events are executed with excellence;
•   Focus on driving efficiency and effectiveness .

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A university degree,  preferably in Marketing or Social Sciences;
•   Three (3) years+ relevant post National Service working experience in the Telecommunications industry or an  FMCG;
•   Prior Experience in event management and agency management
•   Three (3) years+ experience in event management;
