Quality Assurance Manager

Description Of Job

To develop and maintain efficient and effective day-to-day management of quality assurance systems in vegetables operations in the company. Maintain products safety, legality and quality throughout the manufacturing operations.

Qualification

•  Degree in Food science or Agriculture related courses preferably BSc in Food science, BSc in Agriculture or BSc in Horticulture.
•  Knowledge in auditing or certificate in auditing courses
•  Fresh Produce industry experience.

Responsibilities

•  Ensure that the company's quality assurance policies and procedures are developed, reviewed and implemented consistently.
•  Establish, implement and maintain the HACCP systems including coordination of HACCP team activities. Carry out initial and subsequent validation of the HACCP plan.
•  Initiate remedial measures and control od non-conforming products until the deficiency or unsatisfactory conditions are resolved.
•  Undertake periodic scheduled/unscheduled internal audits in the production facility.
•  Act as point of contact to customers, suppliers and service providers on quality and safety related food aspects.
