Our company, a reputable fabrication company in the oil and gas industry located in Takoradi, invites applications from qualified persons to fill the following position:- Quality Assurance Manager

Summary Of Key Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Manager reports to Project Leader and ensures the proper application of organisation quality system and documents issued in the context of the project works

•   Helps set up the project's quality system and goals and relays them to all staff
•   Liaises with the customer on all quality matters
•   Implements the project quality management procedures (quality control of suppliers)
•   Defines and implements an action plan and quality metrics: monitoring of production, repair rates. subcontractor film recovery rates
•   Ensures the conformity of measuring, inspection, testing and manufacturing equipment
•   Guarantees the traceability of the technical documents, base and filler metals and operating procedures used
•   Takes part in quality meetings at the customer's facilities
•   Ensures the application of the proper procedures to make up the workshop pre-manufacturing files
•   Can halt a production / installation if it is not in compliance with specifications
•   Manages all staff in his team
•   Undertakes to share good practices and work methods to his or her team

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Master's degree in any of the Engineering related courses or any relevant discipline plus a professional qualification
•   Applicant must have a minimum of 10 years relevant working experience with five(5) years in O&G

Age Requirement: 30 years minimum
