Job Vacancy For Quality Assurance Manager At Plan Ghana

Our country team is capable, ambitious and highly motivated. To support Plan's work in Ghana, we are looking for dynamic and results oriented persons to fill the above position.
The position will be located in the Country Office, Accra and report to the Country Director. It is a two year renewable contract based on performance.
About the job role:
Under the direct supervision of the Country Director. The Quality Assurance function is responsible for developing, directing, and co-ordinating a comprehensive quality assurance programme which supports improvement of the risk management of Plan Ghana.
Typical responsibilities:
• Coordinate and monitor the quality assurance function and programs
• Participate in the design, implementation and monitoring of all the processes required in the Quality Assurance to work
• Strengthen the risk management processes in line with the Global and Regional strategy through facilitation of the country Risk management plan of actions and monitoring of the risk register
• Review the current Internal Control System for its effectiveness and appropriateness to achieve the organisation's objectives and report on areas of improvement
• Perform special confidential tasks assigned by the Country Director
• Ensure quality standards are met through review of processes at risk in the annual review plan
• Monitors action taken by management in response to assurance reviews, ensuring effective follow up
• Performs other duties, including undertaking complex or sensitive reviews and investigations as assigned
• Support in ensuring Plan's gender equality policy is adhered to
• Adhere to Plan's Child Protection Policy to safeguard and protect children from all forms of abuse at all times without any reports or incidents of child abuse
Qualification Required & Experience
About you: Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Attitudes Required to Achieve Role's Objectives:
Knowledge and Experience:
• In depth knowledge in the fields of Finance, Accounting, or Auditing or its equivalent
• Extensive practical experience of at least five years in auditing an organisation
• Knowledge about programme and project implementation is an added advantage
• Experience of working in an international NGO, preferably in the African/West African context;
Skills:
• Good analytical and synthesis skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Excellent listening and negotiation skills
• Good training, coaching and mentoring skills
• Organised, methodical and meticulous
• Ability to study and quickly understand new operating environment and organisational systems
• Independence and objectivity, you should be able to work with minimum supervision
