A reputable Construction Company on an exponential growth path is seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals for a Quantity Surveyor-Road.  We are currently looking for the services of a Quantity Surveyor. The job functions for this position include but are not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities

•  Assist the Project Manager in the execution of their duties
•  Responsible for planning and monitoring activities involved in the preparation of bills of quantities and estimates for contracts.
•  Analyses projects and advises on pricing and projects costing procedures
•  Preparation of Tender and Contract Documents.
•  Administration of interim and final certificates,variations,claims etc
•  Preparing risk and value management analysis and implementing cost control measures
•  Preparing detailed progress reports
•  Assist in the supervision of construction on-going projects with the preparation of detailed progress reports
•  Any other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A University Degree (Honours) in Building Technology, Quantity Surveying/Building Economics or its equivalent from a recognized University. A masters degree will be an advantage
•  Applicants must have at least 5-10 years of work experience in the Ghana Road Construction sector.
•  Must demonstrate strong practical experience in managing projects
•  Demonstrate experience in contract management and administration of complex/multiple projects with several contracts running concurrently
•  Must demonstrate rigorous and analytical skills preparing quantities, physical measurements, rate analysis, valuation of certificates
•  Ability to prepare cash-flows and cost reporting
•  Ability to use MS Projects, Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Microsoft Suites,
•  Must be a self starter and display the ability to work under pressure
•  Must be able to display excellent written and verbal communication skills
