Right to Play is headquartered in Toronto and facilitates its West And Francophone Africa (WAFA) Regional programmes out of Accra, Ghana. We are seeking suitable Ghanaian nationals fluent in English and French (Written and Verbal) to fill the position of:- Regional Human Resource Officer available at our WAFA Regional Office.

Job Summary

•  Reporting to the Regional Director based in Accra and technically working with Human Resources Manager based in Toronto, the Regional HR OFficer (RHRO) is responsible for the overall management of the operational Human Resources functions within the WAFA Region.
•  The RHRO will work with the Regional Director, the HQ HR Manager, Country Managers and HR Focus Persons to devlop and deliver HR best practices and ensure that HR functions of WAFA reflect RTP's mission, vision and values and comply with local legislation and labour laws

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A Master's Degree in Human Resources / Personnel Management
•  Suitable candidates should possess: 4 to 7 years Human Resources Management experience in the non-profit sector, Competency based HR practices and Intertional HR Experience, with a strong focus on the West And Francophone Africa Region.

Knowledge / Technical Skills Required

•  Knowledge and understanding of WAFA regional employment standards, health & safety and human rights legislation
•  Strong MS Office Skills
•  Experience Payrol and Setting up/administering HRIS
•  Knowledge of HR, Business Management and Human Psychology principles and procedures
