Right to Play is headquartered in Toronto and facilitates its West And Francophone Africa (WAFA) Regional programmes out of Accra, Ghana. We are seeking suitable Ghanaian nationals fluent in English and French (Written and Verbal) to fill the position of:- Regional Monitoring, Evluation and Learning Officer available at our WAFA Regional Office.

Job Summary

•  As part of the Regional Leadership team, the RMEO will be part of a Regional Technical and Advisory Team that supports the country office (CO) managers, M&E officers and partners to continously strengthen a culture and practice of monitoring and evaluation for continuous improvement.
•  The Regional Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (RMEO) will provide technical leadership and support all Monitoring Evaluation, reporting and learning (MERL) activities in the West and Francophone Region of Right To Play (RTP)
•  S/he report to the Regional Programme Manager

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A Master's degree in international or community development, public policy, business administration or related field.
•  Suitable candidates should possess 4 years practical experience developing and implementing M&E systems and 2 years practical experience in child/youth development programming, setting  up + implementing results based management systems, designing + leading evaluation/research studies and training + capacity building

Competencies / Personal Attributes

•  Advanced interpersonal / strong analytical and conceptual skills
•  Strong written communication and verbal presentation skills
•  Criss-cultural sensitively / experience working with stakeholders
•  Ability to present evaluation finding through a variety of medium

Knowledge / Skills Required

•  Substantial experience / knowledge of monitoring and evaluation processes for NGO programmes like CIDA, USAID ect.
•  A background in programme evaluation methodologies
•  Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methodology
•  Strong statistical/quantitative analysis skills using SPSS
•  Strong working knowledge of development + humanitarian issues
