The Center for Environmental Economics Research & Consultancy (CEERAC) has an opening for an entry level Research Assistant. The successful candidate is expected to be highly motivated and have solid quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. The candidate will work with more senior colleagues.

The specific responsibilities include:

•  Collection and compilation of data/information
•  Build a quantitative or statistical database
•  Process data sets using statistical and/or econometric techniques
•  Collect and review literature
•  Support the operational work of CEERAC

Qualification Required & Experience

•  BSc/BA (Hons) in Economics, Economics/Mathematics, Economics/Statistics, Statistics, Mathematics. Minimum second class upper division.
•  Must have completed a minimum of 1 year national service.
•  Solid computer skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of any statistical software is a plus.
•  Excellent communication skills; ability to work well within a team framework and time management skills are also required.
