A leading financial institution seeks to fill some vacancy and invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:- Retail Banking Cluster Heads

Reports to Group Head, Retail Banking

Main Responsibilities include

•   Supervising a cluster of branches
•   Managing, establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships, plan and deliver effective marketing strategies and monitor the progress of new and existing products, as well as provide support on a day-to-day basis to ensure growth and profitability within area of responsibility
•   Ensuring that the targets set for branches covered on creation of quality risk assets, deposit mobilization are met and surpassed through effective relationship management and supervision of Branch Managers responsible for customer accounts
•   Growing the Bank's market share of relevant business in line with targets set by the Bank's Management
•   Directly supervise the activities of Branch Managers within own region to ensure optimal achievement of set targets
•   Driving performance for liability generation and quality risk asset creation
•   Risk Asset apppraisal, disbursement and monitoring
•   Ensuring effective relationship management and bonding with new and existing customers
•   Networking with all potential clients in all relevant categories of own locality to increase customer base.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A first degree or equivalent in any discipline. Relevant professional certificates in Banking such as ACIB or others (Higher Degrees/Professional Certification an advantage)

Experience

•   Minimum of 10 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in a management role in Retail/Consumer Banking.
