A reputable International Hotel requires the services of Revenue Manager (For Ghana and Nigeria Offices)

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Master's/MBA/BAC +4/5
•   Degree in Hotel Managment or general Business Management
•   Knowledge of concepts and evaluation of market analysis processes
•   A clear understanding of hotel industry is necessary
•   Experience in study cases, market research and studies
•   French will be an advantage

Skills

•   Strong analytical capabilities
•   Ability to use analytical results to make recommendations for effective strategic decisions
•   Presentation skills necessary for various levels of audience (peers, managers, departments, owners)
•   Advanced excel skills (for formulas, database knowledge, pivot tables)
•   Technologies and distribution tools (PMS, CRS)
•   Proficiency in English and additional languages would be an added advantage

Main Responsibilities

•   Strategising for revenue maximisation from each hotel
•   Deployment of processes, training, methods and tools adaptation
•   Actual setting up of Revenue Management Processes in each hotel
•   Determining specific parameters (events, client segmentation, offers, competitors, budgets, activity forecasts etc.) relevant for a site and to ensure timely deployment of tools and systems
•   Regular checks of data input and quality data (segmentation, denials tracking etc.)
•   Performance analysis for each hotel (revenue and segmentation)
•   Market survey in terms of competitive pricing and closed dates as strategy for future pricing
•   Provide proposals, based on previous analysis, for adaptation of long and short-term hotel strategies (day types, ideal mix, RML ranking, price points, triggers, sales conditions etc.)
•   Consultation and daily implementation of recommendations in inventory and distribution tools
•   Support preparation of annual revenue budgets
•   Optimise distribution channels
