Main Duties & Responsibilities:

•   Initial assignment will be for the duration of 12 months, subject to any possible extension, renewals and/or variations
•   Implementing and monitoring SMS
•   Reporting & compliance
•   Investigating incidents
•   Preparing for emergencies
•   Ensuring compliance with operator's corporate and local EHS policies in offshore operations
•   Promoting a safety culture and striving for excellence in EHS performance in offshore operations
•   Leading audits in all areas by disciplines, daily and weekly meetings, and evaluating emergency drills
•   Providing support to well engineering team to ensure integrity of emergency prepardness and being part of site ER team
•   Reporting all incidents/accidents in a timely manner per EHS reporting procedures
•   Encouraging and working closely with drilling contractors and service providers in use of both the operator's and drilling contractor's rig safety systems
•   Conducting vessel safety training and induction

Qualification Required & Experience

•   10 - 15 years of offshore experience
•   Degree in Environment, Health and Safety Management
•   Member of chartered institute
