The Position: Sales And Distribution Manager

A Sales and Distribution Manager to lead and manage the conceptualisation, development and execution of company's sales strategy across the company's product lines

Major Tasks:

•  Develop Annual and project sales and distribution plans targeted to achieving rolling business objectives in collaboration with relevant business units
•  Orgnise and drive the day-to-day sales and distribution machinery on all product lines
•  Develop and oversee operational sales and distribution system for tracking and assessing consumer preferences, sales volumes, performance within distribution channels etc.
•  Manage customer care during and after sales
•  Develop and oversee a sales and products inventory management system
•  Nurture, motivate maintain a high performing sales and distribution team
•  Build and maintain appropriate relationships and network of partnerships to support business objectives

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Degree in business, marketing or related field required.
•  A minimum of 6 years progressive experience in sales and distribution preferably in similar industry. Postgraduate qualification in related discipline preferred

Other requirements:

•  Understanding of market and consumer dynamics including relationship between regulatory, competition and strategy
•  Understanding of conceptual framework underpinning sales and distribution function
•  Strong communications and people skills including presentation skills
•  Problem - solving and conflict management capabilities
•  Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, other presentational tools
