A key player in the insurance industry is looking for a competent and seasoned Sales Trainer

The Role

Plan and execute activities that meet the training and development needs of field sales force

Key Responsibilities

•   Works with relevant in house experts to design technical product curricula for sales force
•   Identifies skills and knowledge gaps and draws up training plans to meet them
•   Design and delivers training programmes in line with annual training plan using adult learning principles
•   Liaises with external and internal facilitators to achieve quality training design and delivery
•   Conducts field sales observations and designs/re-designs training to meet identified needs
•   Continually updates training curricula in keeping with changes in product offering, industry and legislative changes and best practice
•   Coordinates the provision of training equipment, venue and materials to achieve the efficient running of training programmes

The right candidate must:

•   Have a good knowledge of insurance and investment
•   Be a professional teacher
•   Have the ability to acquire new knowledge quickly and impart it to others
•   Be confident, a good communicator with good presentation skills
•   Previous insurance sales experience or previous training experience is required

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A first degree in education or a first degree in business, psychology or social science, with a post graduate certificate or diploma in education
