Keegan Resources Ghana Ltd. (“KRGL”) is a fully-­owned subsidiary of Asanko Gold Inc., a company
which is building the Asanko Gold Mine, Ghana’s next goldmine. The vision of Asanko is to become a mid-tier gold mining company that maximizes value for all stakeholders.

KRGL is seeking to employ a qualified person to fill the role below. This is a permanent position with a competitive work roster resident in a single status camp environment. The camp’s facilities include fully serviced air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi access, laundry service, wet mess, sporting facilities (swimming pool, gym, volleyball/basketball, tennis, pool tables, table soccer, soccer grounds). Remuneration package includes attractive salary and performance based incentive payments.

Position: Scada Controller

A Scada specialist with strong capability in PLC code programming and interfacing PLC’s with the Scada.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Responsible for operation and management of Scada;
•   Design, document, implement and maintain essential SCADA and control systems and components for electric power
and distribution networks;
•   Provide appropriate and timely technical advice on matters relating to SCADA and control systems;
•   He/She will be required to train, coach and mentor subordinates to perform effectively and efficiently.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Engineering qualification in Electrical, Electronic or similar or equivalent;
•   Must have 5 years experience in Scada operation and management.
•   Must have an impeccable security and ethical track record
•   Must have good understanding of server architecture;
•   Must understand redundancy and hot standby configuration with seamless switchovers
•   Must be familiar with virtualization technologies
•   Must be able to perform disaster recovery from crashed systems
•   Ability to prepare technical and non-technical documentation
•   Knowledge of structured programming, communication techniques and protocols
•   Knowledge of data communications protocols, networking equipment and computer operating systems such as Windows
and Unix, including Cisco or Microsoft certified qualifications, as well as historical data storage and reclamation.
