Job Vacancy For School Administrator



Job Summary:

• School Administrators oversee administrative tasks in our school.
• He/she will ensure that the organization runs smoothly and they also manage facilities and staff.As an administrator you will be organising the schools event,procure items needed by the school,ensuring filing and documentation is kept up to date.
• Duties may include using specialist computer software and understanding the requirements of the business you are working in.
• You will be also responding to parents and potential parents - via email, phone, or face to face.

The job role of an administrator involves the following duties:

• Preparing, organising and storing information in paper and digital form
• Dealing with queries on the phone and by email
• Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and booking appointments
• Arranging and planning school events (eg;graduation,carols service etc)
• Taking minutes at meetings
• Typing up letters and reports
• Updating records using a database
• Printing and photocopying
• Ordering office supplies
• Maintaining office systems
• Liaising with suppliers and contractors
• Liaising with staff in other departments, e.g. finance, HR etc.
• Providing feedback to parents and careers on a pupil's progress at parent’s meeting and other meetings
• Coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
• Working with others to plan and coordinate work
• Keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
• Organizing and taking part in school events, outings and activities which
• may take place at weekends or in the evening
• Liaising with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly in our small school
• Understanding and buying into school ethos.
• Ideally, must have a creative art skill
• Making sure all payments of pupils are made
• Any other requirement of the job.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of a degree in Business administration and management
• At least 1-3 years of experience
• Good communication skills
• Hand-on with new development
• Must have good knowledge in technology.
• Must be a fast learner and willing to learn and adapt to new changes.
