The Ghana Railway Development Authority is the designated developer of rail infrastructure and regulator in the rail sector. As part of the set-up process, the Authority has a vacancy to fill.

Job Purpose:
The Senior Driver will provide a reliable and efficient transportation service to officials on assignment and ensure maintenance of vehicles in the transport pool.

He will Conduct checks for road worthiness of vehicles, convey assigned officials, goods and equipment to and from designated destinations, register the movement of departmental vehicles, provide support in the investigation of vehicles involved in accidents, undertake periodic examination of vehicles and submit reports as and when necessary

Qualification Required & Experience

•  He/she must have a minimum of a WASSCE/SSSCE Certificate, a valid driving license not below 'D' class, a professional level qualification or industry skill-based certification in auto-mechanics, a certificate from an accredited driving institute and a minimum eight (8) years post qualification relevant work experience
•  He must have excellent leadership skills, ability to coordinate work across different geographical locations, good communication and interpersonal skills, and good knowledge of changing technology in transport management
