It is a former NOSA 5 Star "Platinum" related mine, which has gained ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) Certification and currently implementing OHSAS 18001 Safety Management System.

Description Of Job

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to fill the position of Senior HR Training Officer - Processing in our Human Resources Department.

Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to provide training needs identification, develop and design training programmes, evaluate and monitor training programmes for the processing staff.

Specific Duties and Performance Requirements:
Reporting to the Training Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will perform the following duties:

•  Crushing and Overland Process and GTSF Training Needs Identification and assessment (using Training Matrics)
•  Crushing and Overland Process and GTSF Training Needs Designs (including Process Flow)
•  Crushing and Overland Process and GTSF Training Programmes and Developments
•  Implementing Crushing and Overland Process and GTSF Training Programmes
•  Monitoring and Evaluating Crushing and Overland Process and GTSF Training Programmes
•  Talent Management (upgrade the crushing and overland process and GTSF skills in the various processing sections)
•  Manage and maintain crushing and overland process and GTSF Training and Development training matrices

Qualification Required & Experience

Essential Qualification, Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

•  A minimum of City and Guilds MET (part III) certificate with not less than four (4) years working experience in a reputable manufacturing industry preferably mining
•  Alternatively, an HND in Mineral, Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering with three (3) years working experience

OR

•  Bsc. in Mineral, Chemical or Metallurgical engineering from a recognised University with a minimum of two (2) years working experience in the mining industry

Other Requirements:

•  Proven administrative experience
•  Very excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
•  Must have adequate knowledge in Mine Safety Regulation and practices
•  Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
•  Must have strong ethics and positive attitude towards work
