Title: Senior Officer, Taskforce
Reports To: Principal Officer, Taskforce

Job Summary: Supports the Principal Officer in enforcing security protocols, conducting site inspections, and preventing unauthorized gold movements across the organisation’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating security operations to combat illegal gold trading and smuggling.
• Work closely with law enforcement agencies to monitor high-risk gold transactions and supply chains.
• Support security taskforce operations at mining sites, refineries, and export hubs.
• Implement security protocols to safeguard the integrity of the gold value chain.
• Monitor surveillance systems and provide reports on suspicious activities.
• Assist in security drills and emergency response planning.
• Document security incidents and propose preventive measures.

Qualification Required & Experience

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or a related field.
• Minimum of four (5) years’ experience in law enforcement, security operations, or risk management.
• Knowledge of security risk assessment, surveillance techniques, and enforcement protocols.
• Proficiency in incident reporting, evidence collection, and threat mitigation strategies.
• Ability to operate security monitoring systems, communication tools, and protective equipment.
• Observant, detail-oriented with strong situational awareness.
• Resilient and composed under high-pressure situations.
• Proactive and decisive in responding to security threats and risks.
