Title: Senior Officer, Vault Services
Reports To: Principal Officer, Vault Services
Job Summary: Support vault operations, ensuring the secure storage and management of precious metals and related assets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the implementation and enforcement of security protocols and access control procedures within the vault.
• Support accurate tracking and management of vault inventory, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
• Assist in the safe and efficient handling and movement of precious metals and other assets within the vault.
• Support the maintenance of compliance with security and regulatory standards and assist in the preparation of related documentation.
• Provide operational support in vault activities and assist in the preparation of reports for the Principal Officer.
• Ensure adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and financial crime prevention protocols, protecting Ghana’s precious minerals trade from illicit activities.
Qualification Required & Experience
Skills and Qualification Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Security Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in gold refining, fabrication.
• Experience in secure vault handling, including inventory reconciliation and asset custody.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, alarm protocols, and security access procedures.
• Understanding of security protocols and access control procedures.
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and security systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
