Purpose of the job

To ensure accurate reporting of financial figures and timely reporting of financial statements. The ideal candidate should have an appreciation of numbers, and be reliable and a very good analyst of financial reports

Key Accountabilities

•   Prepare management accounts and reports for management and board meetings
•   Prepare annual budget
•   Treasury management of operations and portfolio funds
•   Prepare staff payroll
•   Advise management and board on tax implications of transactions
•   Ensure prompt settlement of regulatory payment and filing of regulatory reports
•   Properly account for receivables and payables
•   Support external audit process
•   Ensure adherence to internal control procedures
•   Properly account for and safeguard the assets of the company

Age: Not less than 35 years with excellent health

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A good first degree from a recognised university
•   Membership of a professional accountancy body (ICAG, ACCA, etc)
•   Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics would be an advantage
•   Completion of GSE's Ghana Securities Industry certificate course would be an advantage
•   Membership, or part-qualification as a member, of CITG would be an advantage

Experience

•   The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years working experience in similar role.
