Job Vacancy For Senior Purchasing Supervisor At African Mining Services (Tarkwa)



Key Duties:

•  To provide effective, efficient and timely personal input, along with the co-ordination of Purchasing staff to complete the cycle of Purchasing, Expediting and Logistics functions.
•  To ensure the timely ordering, follow-up, delivery and receipt of goods by all AMSG sites.
•  The taking of control of the complete Purchasing/Expediting cycle for the procurement of goods for each Purchase Order initated from approved Requisitions.
•  Act as a mentor to ensure the on-going training, personal development, discipline and effective time management for the continuous improvement of the Purchasing team.
•  Co-ordinate the tasks of the Purchasing Staff to best utilise the human resources available
•  Co-ordinate the tasks of the Purchasing Staff for the most efficientuse of other resources

Remuneration: Very attractive and commensurate with experience

Qualification Required & Experience

•  BSc/HND Procurement and Supply Chain Management or Equivalent
•  Minimum 5 years' experience in Procurement and Management of staff
•  Must have excellent communication skills on the job
•  Must be well versed in the field of Health, Safety and Environment
•  Must be computer literate (PRONTO/PULSE)
•  Must be fit and capable to perform on any AMSG Project site
