Major function and purpose of position

•   To coordinate and supervise all activities regarding shipping operations

Major duties and tasks of the role

•   Plan and schedule shipping operations and liaise within and outside the organization as appropriate to ensure effective delivery
•   Obtain right documentation for port entry or exit with focus on-time delivery and the prevention of delays due to errors
•   Control cost, monitor budget, expenses and purchases for all shipping activities.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum of BSc in Ports and Shipping Administration
•   At least 5 years experience in a related position
•   Relevant certificates in shipping and logistics would be an advantage
•   Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
