Our client, Rehoboth Properties Limited, was established in 2012 with the mission of designing, developing, constructing and marketing of real estates. The Company which is based in Accra with substantial property interests has aggressively started Phase 1 of Rehoboth Real Estates during which it will develop residential and multi-use properties for sale to the public. The company foresees a tremendous growth potential in its area of operation and therefore has an urgent need to recruit the following category of staff to strengthen its manpower so as to take advantage of the market potential:- Site Engineer

The Site Engineer reports directly to the Project Manager

Principal Accountabilities

•  Takes responsibility for daily site work
•  Liaises with Site Engineer(s) of contracting company to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications and to ensure target dates are met per schedule
•  Seeks clarification of design from Project Manager to whom he/she also reports each day on progress of work or delays in excution of project
•  Conducts regular site inspection. Makes sure any changes in plan have been communicated to engineers of contractors and other sub-contractors or their representatives. Attends all site meetings
•  Monitors work environment for any hazards and assists to conduct quality and safety audit and highlights possible risk on project. Ensures that all site work is carried out in a safe environment
•  Assists with project documentation as necessary
•  Keeps inventory of supplies at the job site ensuring adequate levels are maintained
•  Checks contractors bill due for payment and verifies contractors extra claims before payment.

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable unversity is required for this position. Additionally, candidate must possess a post graduate construction management certificate. Candidate should have at least five (5) years post graduation construction project execution experience in the real estate industry.
•  Candidate should be very conversant with project management techniques as well as understand business risks and management
•  Candidate should be a team player and have the capability to manage the interfaces between the Project Manager and the contractors Site Engineers and other workers for smooth project execution
•  Candidate must have good interpersonal skills
•  Computer literacy is required for the successful candidate and he/she must be able to use AutoCAD, Microsoft Programmes like Word, Excel, Power Point as well as IBM's SPSS programme
