Vacancy for Site Engineer to work on a residential development construction site, project consisting of ground improvement, foundations and mainly superstructure works.

The candidate will be required to work alongside contractors, architects and consulting engineers and will be responsible to ensure the correct execution of works as per consultant’s construction drawings and instructions.

Duties will also involve

•  Checking structural element set-outs and against construction tolerances as per standard codes
•  Supervision of construction works
•  Checking of reinforcement, formwork and fresh concrete on arrival at site
•  Quality control
•  Site supervision
•  Checking of post-construction surveys and concrete test results
•  Tracking changes to design drawings for the as-built file
•  Certifying drawings for building control submission

All candidates need to be able to begin work as soon as possible.

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate must be a CAD literate GhIE professional member with a minimum of 5 years professional practicing experience, no less than 3 of which spent on site.
