Job Vacancy For Solutions Architect
A multinational IT solutions provider seeks to recruit individuals with the requisite professional competencies and experience to fill the following role: Solutions Architect
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign
• Lead user Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts
• Maintain programmes, procedures, systems and documentation on all software application releases
• Modify test plans for new and existing software applications/releases that ensure comprehensive testing according to the software applications
Document all testing results in conjunction with test plans
• Develop documentation for each project life cycle
• Communication critical issues and status updates in a timely manner
• Develop a methodology for debugging and resolving bugs
Qualification Required & Experience
• BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics or a closely related field
• At least five (5) years development experience in which the most part has been spent on validating solutions
• Extensive knowledge and experience in software development life cycle, including design, testing, deployment and documentation
• Broad knowledge of structured query languages (SQL), relational database principles and JDBC e.g (MySQL, IBM DM2)
• Knowledge/understanding of user interface frameworks e.g JSON, XML, HTML, AJAX
• Ability to script with selenium and/or Java
• In-depth knowledge of telecommunications network architecture
• Experience in SVN or other systems for controlled environments
• Proficient in analysing software requirements and documenting technical specifications
• Strong aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts to developing new systems and maintaining existing systems
• Sound analytical, organizing and problem solving skills
