Responsibilities:

•  You will teach students academic, social, and motor skills through the delivery of instruction, curriculum and assessment.
•  Assigns lessons and corrects homework.
•  Plan course objectives, outlines and lesson notes for course of study that align with the curriculum frameworks or requirements.
•  Teaches rules of conduct and expected behaviours, - maintaining management of the classroom and management of activity outside the classroom.
•  Counsel’s students when adjustment and academic problems arise and refers students to other services as needed.
•  Discusses student academic and behavioral attitudes and achievements with parents.
•  Implements instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
•  Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
•  Assists in assessing changing curricular needs and offers plans for improvement.
•  Provides a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.
•  Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis.
•  Collaborates with peers to enhance the instructional environment.
•  Models professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and community.

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Have a B.Ed or a BA in Education.
•  Three (3) years working experience from a reputable educational institution
•  Applicants should be proficient in the use of ICT.
