A Reputable security company is looking for a qualified Training Officer for immediate employment.

Responsibilities:

•  To provide leadership in improving the productivity of employees by developing, designing and implementing training programmes.
•  Responsible for coordinating and liaising with external training institutions and resource persons for training delivery
•  Administer and evaluate training programme qualification tests and determine eligibility of prospective guards.
•  Ensure that returns on investment in training is maximized
•  Develop strategies to assess the effectiveness of training programmes
•  Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
•  Establish trainee personnel records.
•  Assist HR Officer in staff selection and recruitment
•  Develop proposals to compete for jobs from the open market.
•  Taking guards through best practice security procedures within designated geographical area of responsibility.

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Qualified candidate should have at least an HND or Degree
•  Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position
•  Supervisory / management experience in the training or related field.
•  Security-core job knowledge and experience in scheduling, post order development, employee relations, and computer usage.
•  Multi-tasking, solid communications skills with a service personality and customer relations profile.
•  Should have the ability to devise innovative ways of delivering training programmes
•  Resolving complex client complaints on site
•  Ability to anticipate behavior of guards on specific issues and identify talent
•  Previous experience in the security industry would be an advantage
