A Wood Processing Factory based in the Ashanti Region of Ghana requires the services of the following:

Transport Workshop Manager

Required Minimum qualification and experience

•  Background in engineering
•  Minimum of five (5) years working experience in a similar position

Key Responsibilities

•  Develop fleet administration standards
•  Take control over maintenance, repair and replacement of vehicles and equipment.
•  Take care of the day-to-day administration of the transport workshop
•  Produce dialy reports on the status of vehicles and equipment
•  Check trucks and equipment for mechanical fitness
•  Monitor stock levels of spare parts required and advise accordingly

Skills And Competence

The candidate must have

•  A fair knowledge of various trucks and equipment including but not limited to trucks (Iveco, Benz, Man, Astra), heavy-duty equipment (bulldozers, skidders, etc.) & forklifts
•  Good interpersonal skills
•  Good communicative skills

The successful candidate will report to the General Manager (Operations) / Managing Director
