The Presbyterian Centre for Vocational Instructors' Development (PRECEVID) is a centre of Excellence to train Professionals for the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector in Ghana.

Job Summary:

PRECEVID is a new and still evolving centre located in Kumasi and seeks dedicated, energetic and competent persons to occupy position in the Hospitality Unit.

Role:

•  Prepare table and sets, the table cutlery and condiments before the start of meals
•  Seat guests on arrival to the restaurant and recommend dishes, drinks and wines, when taking orders
•  Take food and drink orders using appropriate procedures
•  Ensures that all items are prepared and served accurately
•  Process guests orders in timely and accurate fashion
•  Serve food and beverages according to standard procedures
•  Prepare bills and accept payment

Qualification Required & Experience

City and Guilds Part 1 or NVTI Gd. I or HOTCATT Intermediate Cert. in F & B Services or a related qualification in Hospitality training and number of working experience in waiting services in a hotel

Competencies:

•  Demonstrate good retentive memory
•  Good interpersonal and communication skills
•  Knowledge in the use of computers
