Description Of Job
Reporting: To the Materials Manager, Tema
Purpose and Summary Objectives:
• To assist the Materials Manager with the day to day operations of general warehouse administration duties
• To manage a team of colleagues as directed by the Materials Manager in order to deliver the required standard of performance
Role Responsibilities:
• Receiving all incoming goods into the warehouse
• Filing, archiving and general office administrative duties
• Carry out other duties at the request of Materials Manager
• Process orders into the warehouse management system (Odesey)
• Assist with cycle counts in terms of issuing stock cards, variances, stock reports, palletizing, graphs etc
• Monitor and record the goods in and goods out process.
• Liaise with Supply Chain/Branches regarding stock holdings, sales and dispatch of products to customers.
• Organizing dispatches with logistics partners.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
• Establish and maintain high accuracy and completeness of data
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and best practice
• Undertake any special projects as required.
• Promote and ensure compliance with all Health and Safety of requirements for Colleagues, including housekeeping ensuring that the work area is clean, safe and secure.
• Communicate operational plans, requirements and achievements regularly and clearly to team members

Qualification Required & Experience
• High National Diploma or equivalency in distribution, logistics, transportation, management, business studies
• Three years experience in warehouse or stock clerical work is recommended
• Trustworthy individual with an eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
• Flexible approach; a self starter who can pro-actively work on own initiative with minimum supervision
• Results focused with drive to ensure complicated tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrated typing skills
• Good IT skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Previous experience within a similar role preferred, administration experience essential.
