Job Summary

•   Develop and implement Transport policy;
•   Propose and introduce improvements in the existing transport system;
•   Ensure that proper inventory of all vehicles components are maintained and checked frequently;
•   Ensure that the maintenance, oiling and servicing schedule of the vehicles is followed
•   Keep records/ history of drivers and accidents;
•   Maintain duty roasters of drivers, cleaners and mechanics;
•   Arrange for re-training and re-certification of drivers and registration and re-certifications of vehicles;
•   Ensure repair/ maintenance workshop functions properly;
•   Submit regular and comprehensive monthly report to Supervisor.
•   Ensure safe parking of Vehicles.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   HND Mechanical Engineering or tertiary qualification in management;
•   At least 3 years experience in handling Transport services, of any reputed organization
•   Ability to update maintenance records on daily basis;
•   Well developed oral and written communication skills;
•   Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people of diverse cultures:
•   A valid and current light duty vehicle license and proficiency in driving a light vehicle
