Job Summary

•   Reporting to the Treasurer, the role holder will be accountable for the FX trading activities, focusing on executing the key mandate of the FX trading business line

Key Responsibilities

•   Responsible for trading of all forex transactions and monetary forex flows
•   Ensure financial transactions, policies and procedures meet corporate objectives and regulatory requirements inclusive of related risk and exposur
•   Manage daily trading to ensure timely execution of the orders and confirming that they are in compliance with regulatory policies
•   Ensure increase in income and volumes from customers through the offer of innovative solutions and profitable trading in fixed income market
•   Responsible for trading in the FX markets with the objective of building consistent FX trading revenues within approved limits
•   Responsible for pricing and management of FX position under changing liquidity conditions
•   Manage FX exposures within approved market risk and counterparty limits

Qualification Required & Experience

•   First degree in Accounting, Finance or related subject
•   Must possess professional certification in Accountancy, Treasury or related field
•   An MBA or second degree in Finance, Accounting or related course will be an added advantage
•   A minimum of 6 years Treasury experience with 2 years supervising FX Trading

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

•   Good understanding of the global economy
•   Knowledge and understanding of International Foreign Exchange market
•   Strong trading, negotiation & analytical skills
•   Understanding of foreign currencies trading dynamics
•   Good understanding of methods of market analysis (Fundamental and Technical)
•   Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to utilise instruments, applications and risk management techniques necessary to manage foreign exchange transactions and participate in global money markets
