A reputable multinational FMCG is seeking suitable candidates for five vacant position:- General Accountant

Scope of Responsibility

The position primarily reports to the Finance Manager

•   The position requires timely and accurate reporting as well as delivery on key financial ratios, ensure financial function conformity to CFP’s, GAAP and Local Accounting Standards.
•   The ability to take initiative to identify and implement methods to further enhance exiting reporting tools, ensure timely processing of all income statement and balance sheet transactions is done correctly.
•   This person will assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual or any adhoc reports and also assist the Finance Manager with matters of insurance, internal and external  audits and taxes

The ability to take initiatives to identify and implement methods to further enhance exiting reporting tool

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must have completed National Service
•   Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting or Finance)
•   5 years experience in similar functions
•   Knowledge of SAP/GAAP/ MS Office
•   Professional qualification would be preferred (CPA/ACCA/CIMA)
•   Excellent English communication skills and French language would be a plus
•   Must be located in Ghana
•   FMCG experience and able to work under pressure
•   Good presentation skills
•   High degree of passion and energy
•   Experience in share service operations (preferred but not necessary)
