A reputable Microfinance company is seeking a young, dynamic and result oriented individual to fill the position of:- General Manager.

Job Summary

•   Assist board of Directors in developing strategic direction of the company, prepare annual budgets and marketing plans
•   Ensure effective management through recruiting, orienting, training, and coaching new staff, communicating values, strategies and objectives, assigning roles and responsibilities, planning, monitoring and appraising job recruits
•   Develop and implement an aggressive Branch expansion strategy, establish plans and budgets for the creation of new branches
•   Supervision of IT, finance and Administration, Human Resources and Marketing functions
•   Build company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organisations and employees, enforcing ethical business practices
•   Maintain quality service by establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies
•   Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualification Required & Experience

•   First Degree
•   3 to 5 years work experience

Qualification

•   1st Degree in the field of Accounting, Economics, ICT, Management, Statistics, Masters Degree preferred
•   CIB profession qualification is an added advantage
•   At least 5 years relevant microfinance / banking experience
•   Minimum of 3 years in a management position
•   Sound understanding and extensive experience in IT, Finance and Credit delivery
•   Applicant should have a good microfinance or banking background
