Job Purpose

•   The General Manager will be responsible to the Board of Directors for the efficient and effective conduct of the business of the institution
•   He/she will be engaged in the day-to-day operations of the institution.

Job Responsibilities

Duty:

•   Do all that is reasonably possible to obtain desirable new business and to retain what we already have in the books of the institution
•   The profitable operation of the institution must be his/her aim
•   Must offer good leadership, and be able to control and direct his/her subordinate officers

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A first (university) degree from a recognised tertiary institution
•   Ten years working experience in the banking environment and a second degree in Accounting, Administration and Commerce would be an advantage
