Job Vacancy For General Manager
A pensions company that offers corporate trustee services is hiring a General Manager.
Responsibilities
As a pension scheme manager, you'll need to:
• Oversee the day-to-day management and adminitration of pensions funds
• Develop pensions policies and benefits packages
• Review, discuss and agree fund strategy and structure with the company board
• Ensure that schemes operate effectively and meet performance quality and customer care targets, as well as complying with industry standards
• Keep up to date with current statutory regulations and monitor changes in the legal situation for pensions providers and developments in pension provision in order to ensure the optimum performance of the fund
• Provide up-to-date reports to trustees and pensions managers
• Develop communication strategies to promote the benefits of pension schemes
• Advise the company board on new and emerging financial issues
• Monitor pensions scheme deficits and prepare relevant reports
• Make recommendations to improve the scheme in response to member feedback and scheme performance
Qualification Required & Experience
• Degree in any of the following field finance, economics, law, mathematics, statistics
• Masters in finance
• Professional qualification will be an added advantage
• You must have 5 years past experience working in pensions management and pensions administration or pensions consultancy
• Experience in a related role such as accountancy, finance, actuarial work or investment management is also useful
