A reputable Rural / Community Bank in the Eastern Region has a vacancy for a General Manager.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum educational qualifications: a first degree from a recognised university of final certificate from a relevant accredited professional body
• Must have a minimum 10 years of working experience in a leadership position in a rural/community bank
• Must be a self-motivated and results-oriented individual capable of working with minimum supervision
• Will manage and supervise all aspects of the bank's operations, including Credit, IT, HR, Agencies.
• Will interface and manage the bank's external relationships - regulatory institutions, shareholders and relevant stakeholders and will serve as the secretary to the board
• Will manage the bank's cost function efficiently and ensure that costs stay within required norms
• Above all will be a manager and motivational leader to the bank's staff ensuring discipline and high productivity
