Job Vacancy For General Manager – Client Services



Our client is one of the long-established and leading non-banking financial institution in Ghana. It is licensed by the Bank of Ghana to carry on the business of savings and loans as defined by the Banking Act, 2004 (Act 673). The company has its head office in Accra with strategically located its business and operations.

We are therefore looking to recruit executives who are very dynamic, results-oriented, competent, strategy-focused and who are challenged to lead organizational transformation and development. The position to be filled is: General Manager - Client Services

Summary of Job Responsibilities

•   Effective strategy implementation and administration of the credit management functions of the company with direct reporting lines to the managing director

Essential duties and accountabilities

•   Reports to the Managing Director
•   Develop, lead and drive the credit management policies of the company
•   Build and expand quality loan portfolio of the company
•   Advise management of industry trends and development on best credit policies and practices
•   Appraise and analyse loan applications and applicants
•   Ensure timely processing and disbursement of approved loans
•   Oversight responsibility over credit and relationship officers functions and operations
•   Help customers with credit problems strictly in line with the credit policies of the company
•   Any other appropriate functions assigned by the managing director or his assistant

Qualification Required & Experience

•   At least master degree or its equivalent in business administration - banking, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, accounting or other related discipline and a minimum of 8 years of work experience in Bank Credit Management or Bachelor's Degree in Business - preferably banking, finance, economics, mathematic, statistics, accounting, or other related discipline and a minimum of 10 years of bank credit management experience
•   Membership of and current good standing in professional bodies such as ICAG, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CMA, CFA or any comparable certificate
•   Ability to professionally manage significant loan portfolios
•   Meeting high qualitative and quantitative performance standards
•   Significant travel
•   Maintaining confidentiality and working independently under reasonable deadlines and schedules
•   Competency in T24 banking software is required
•   Demonstrate critical, strategic and analytical competencies
•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
