A reputable company in the oil and gas industry is seeking a qualified and competent individual who meets the requirements to apply for the following role:- General Manager, Fuel Trading & Management

Job Purpose:

The General Manager of Fuel Trading & Management is responsible for the strategic planning for the petroleum product supply, demand and trading activities.

Key Responsibilities

•   Serve as the company's foremost expert in strategic planning for the petroleum trading business
•   Manage the transactional risk resulting from all trading
•   Responsible for maintenance of in-house pricing and position management
•   Participate in the development of the long-term capital and resource allocation for the petroleum business
•   Responsible for managing accurate trades are entered and ensuring the accuracy of overall position, P&L and risk metrics
•   Have overall responsibility for managing the contracts and maintaining relationships with company's trading clients
•   Ensure good relationships with potential operating clients and ensure the continued growth of the company's performance within the region
•   Work closely with key clients to help negotiate and build close relationships
•   Manage relationships with the global network of traders

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics
•   Master's Degree
•   15 years working experience with 8 plus years of related professional experience
•   5 years management experience
•   The qualified candidate will have a complete understanding of the options markets, and how to integrate core strategic of the options markets and how to integrate core strategic views and express them through non-linear instruments
•   Must be able to demonstrate experience managing market risks
•   Must be able create strategy and communicate trade (options,etc) as well as an in-depth understanding of the fundamental drivers of price
•   Ability to use and maximize a wide-range of data, consulting and forecasting services
•   Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of statistical and trading systems
•   Excellent relationship management capabilities and are able to drive a team and mentor staff
•   Excellent stakeholder management skills
•   Strong communication skills-oral, written and presentation
