Job Vacancy For Guest House Manager
GILLBT is inviting applications from matured Christians with a call of God & managerial/hospitality skills to manage the GILLBT Guest House in Tamale.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the daily operations of the Guest House (front desk, housekeeping and F&B unit), plan, manage & ensure the short and long term maintenance & development of the guesthouse
• Ensure reservations for accommodation and conferences are done efficiently
• Ensure monthly supplies are procured, supervise to ensure inventory procedures are followed accordingly
• Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained and continuously improved
• To liaise with the Finance Manager to prepare and manage the annual budget
• Write weekly & promote a positive image of GILLBT and market GILLBT products & Guesthouse
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of Degree in Hostel/Hospitality management or any other related course with 2 to 5 years experience in similar job (hospitality industry) with minimum of a year in a managerial role
• Acceptance to GILLBT's basis of faith
• Result-oriented
• Ability to prepare annual budgets and financial plans
• Ability to project sales targets for profitability
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and question information received
• Practical understanding of good customer services
• The ability to empathise and communicate with a diverse range of individuals
• Ability to work in/with a team
• Ability to use own initiative, prioritise workload and work effectively without supervision
• Show a flexible approach to work
