A start-up vehicle inspection company is seeking candidates to fill the following vacant position: Head, Finance and Administration
Job Summary
• The Head of Finance and Administration will be responsible for coordinating all financial, accounting, marketing, procurement and administrative matters to ensure the assets of the company are properly managed. S/he will report to the Facility Manager
Duties
• Carry out day-to-day administrative duties and oversee personnel, transport, security, training, and welfare programmes of the company
• Efficiently manage the company's assets and liabilities
• Ensure the collation and production of the annual budget
• Monitor and control the flow of cash receipts and disbursements to meet the company's business and investment needs
• Initiate action on procurement, repair and maintenance of the assets and materials
• Facilitate and arrange for staff to receive appropriate training to enhance service delivery
• Institute scientific staff performance appraisal mechanism to enhance and determine the potential of individual staff for promotional and target setting purposes
• Advises management on general administrative policies, including staff recruitment, welfare, medicals, pension, security policies etc.
• Perform duties pertaining to staff recruitment, deployment, promotion and discipline
• Process documents on payment of emoluments and other financial obligations
Qualification Required & Experience
• University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Accounting and Human Resource Management
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
• Demonstrable leadership ability
• Team player
• Strong standards of integrity and ability to manage confidential data
• Self-disciplined
